Hi, I'm LaRae

I was born and raised in Wilmington, Delaware, where I first discovered my passion for art in 2020 during COVID, when finding a means of living was difficult. Since then, art has become both my livelihood and my purpose. I’m a professional artist and licensed K–12 art educator with a Bachelor’s Degree in Child Education and a minor in Child Development from North Carolina Central University. My artwork has found homes both locally in Wilmington and internationally, reaching as far as the Virgin Islands. I create powerful art that reflects my Black experience and love sharing that same creative energy with others through my classes, commissions, and paint-and-sip events. My goal is to create art that feels joyful and accessible, bringing unforgettable experiences to you and the youth in our communities.
